The “Big-3” Inshore Fish Of The Everglades
Tarpon
Tarpon are considered by many the ultimate inshore gamefish. Their size, willingness to eat flies, and acrobatics when hooked combine to make them the fish of most fly/spin fishermen and women’s dreams.
Snook
Snook don’t get the attention in the inshore fishing world that they deserve. Maybe that is a good thing. Anglers in the know understand the appeal of the snook, especially a big Everglades snook.
Redfish
Redfish are one of the least hyped species of fish in the inshore saltwater fishing game. They aren’t put on a pedestal like a permit, but deserve as much respect as any saltwater gamefish.

Everglades Offshore Fishing Charters
Fish SW Florida For Grouper, Snapper, Cobia, And More.
Southwest Florida isn’t necessarily on the radar of those looking for an offshore fishing adventure, but it should be. The area is often overlooked because of the attention its inshore fishery receives even though just out past the horizon lies some of the most productive offshore waters on the Gulf coast.
The waters offshore of SW Florida are not the deepest and normally do not attract the billfish, dolphin, and wahoo that inhabit the Atlantic Ocean, but the Gulf is home to numerous offshore species - grouper, snapper, cobia, permit, kingfish, blackfin tuna, and others that make for a great day on the water, as well as fantastic table fare.
With easy access from Naples, Marco Island, and Everglades City, predictable weather, and comfortable boat rides, a day offshore fishing in SW Florida is a great activity to share with family, friends, and business colleagues.
SW Florida Offshore Fishing Favorite Species
GROUPER
Grouper fishing in the offshore waters of SW Florida, is a test of both strength and strategy, drawing anglers from all over the world who seek the thrill of battling one of the Gulf's hardest-fighting and best eating fish.
SnAPPER
Unlike the brute force tactics required for grouper, snapper fishing is a game of finesse—light leaders, stealthy presentations, and just the right bait are necessary to fool these sharp-eyed fish.
COBIA
Cobia fishing in the offshore waters of Naples is a pursuit filled with excitement and unpredictability. Unlike grouper or snapper, which tend to hold tight to structure, cobia are wanderers, appearing when you least expect them
